Screen saver wobbling for Panasonic plasma TH-42PZ700

Hi

The instruction manual says the plasma has a screen saver, wobbling.

I cannot see any settings for this and I have not seen any screen saver appear on the plasma.

Does anyone have any information on this?

Hi Doron

I have a Panansonic TH-37PX70 plasma, i should image the following applies to your set as well.

Panasonic have been very clever with this screen saver, its not like what you get on a PC when you leave it for a certain amount of time.

Every so ofton, how ofton i don't know but the whole screen moves about a couple of pixels left to right top and bottom, this movement is so slight the human eye does not pick it up.

But it does prevent pixels showning a certain colour for any amount of time, therefore eliminating screen burn.

Yes, it's a pretty common feature on a lot of plasmas these days, and has been for a few generations.

But does that make any difference? I mean, if the image is moved by only a few pixels then isn't it likely that the pixels on the screen will still be displaying exactly the same thing?
