The EG960 is no way worth £3800, more like £2000. There is a cheaper one coming too. I would hold off until you can get HDR too and a decent price. Then people say that 65- inches is the only suitable size for 4K, so waiting for them to come down to £3000 would only interest me. They are currently way over priced. I wouldn't worry too much about what people on the forum say about them, I would purchase from John Lewis and decide for yourself. If you don't like them then send it back.Tze Kin said:With hdr update confirmed finally for the EG960 it is a very tempting proposition as my next upgrade...I would not have jumped into the Oled harem too early on 1080p.It is 'a fling' more than a marriage.Eventually the yearnings for 4k would be too strong...etc. Avforum's 4k Oled owners thread shows disdain with screen issues with this Oled model. One 'Andyz' had reportedly returning a 55 inch model for a 65 inch JS9000 instead.Yes indeed.
Many say that for the asking oled price it must be perfect. It aren't yet. So you see why I would not go there when others aren't happy. My Sony Wedge LED with dynamic extender contrast will suffice given the mitigating issues.
