Samsung UE40D5520 OR UE40D6530?

I am desperately in need of some advice regards purchasing a new television. After a long and arduous search I believe I have narrowed my choice down to the Samsung UE40D5520 £529.99 or UE40D6530 £649.99 but I am open to alternative suggestions. I am undecided if the UE40D6530 is worth the extra £120 if one isn't to fully utilize the 3D and Samrt TV services on offer which I believe I ultimately won't. I will predominately be watching Sky and sports. Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I have reached a crossroads. Thank you in advance. Jamie

Hi,

I had exactly same issue as you, I evenually went for the 405520 as comparing like for like picture wise I could not see if any any pic difference and also I didnt need the 3D either.

I am happy with my choice anyway

I know this thread is a couple of weeks old but Currys have got the UE40D5520 for £479 at the moment.
