Samsung UE32H5000 and Technics SB-F2 speakers

I'd like to connect my Samsung UE32H5000 and Technics SB-F2 speakers. I'm not clear as to how this may be done. I have a Pioneer A-400 amp I can use if required.

If your pioneer amp has an optical in, use an optical cable between tv and amp.

Regrettably, amp is a bit too old for such inputs.

What concers me is that the audio output from the TV quotes 10W x 2 in the spec. I'm worried that this may be too powerful for the amp input circuits? Probably not powerful enough to drive the speakers directly?
