Which one are you buying ?

I think i will go for the panasonic !
Me too, I have pre-ordered the Panasonic for £539, history suggests it will be more reliable than Samsung based on past players.

Are you going to pre-order the Panasonic then or wait until it comes out?

I will pre-order as i want the free films just can't decide on to whether phone RS to see if i can pre-order from them or just go to superfi.

I think samsungs blu-ray player will go live on their website tomorrow and best av deals will probably be advertising it.

Did you have any issues with your Samsung player?
Nope, it was the first generation I was referring to. Mine is really good.

My first DVD player was a Samsung 709 back in 2000 and it was a fantastic reliable DVD player and was an early generation. The problems will be firmeware updates and both Panasonic and Samsung will be very proactive in this arena.

Anyone wetting their pants at the thought of the launch of these players, i know i am i have already pre-ordered the panasonic yesterday. *good*

Where did you pre-order it from?

Not sure what my cables are to be honest they are quite old, i'm pretty sure you get a free one with the panasonic UHD blu-ray player, no i don't do 4K netflix i haven't got an account/subscribe to them.

As I have said before, check if your existing cables work first. You may find that existing cables already exceed specs and work with 4K as well.

Will do. *good*
