Samsung 51 F5500

I have a blue/green line down the right hand side of my Samsung TV.

The screen is not damaged,the line has just appeared.The TV is out of warranty.

Any ideas?

When did the warranty run out?

How old is the tv?

It was bought November 2013.

I would certainly say that a tv from a quality manufacturer should last longer than 15 months, and I'm sure there's something in European law about 2 years, but I'm not 100% certain on the details.

Someone who will know will be on here soonish, so don't rush into a decision over the next few days.

For future purchases I would recommend buying from John Lewis or Richer Sounds, as you get a 5 year warranty. Saves a lot of hassle and money in the long term.
