Samsung 40B550 and 40B650

I have seen both these screens seperatly and been impressed by both.

Has anyone seen both side by side and seen much difference in the performance. If the difference is minimal, I would rather spend less and have the 40B550 but if there is a noticeable step up in quality I will buy the 40B650.

Also, do these Samsung TVs still have the lip sync problem when the audio output is via a standard amp (not av receiver). Can this be easily solved.

My viewing is through Sky+ but I will be stepping up to Sky HD before the world cup. Is the 650 much better at showing sports due to its 100mhz processor or are both screens very similar

We have a 37in samsung, and used to have lip sync issues with standard sky + through a stereo amp, but just moved to hd, and they have gone, also hd allows you to put a time lag nto the speach, so sorting the sync issue.
