I'm going down the 3D road, too excited about new gimmicks to let it pass me by...
I'd just like an opinion on something that has arisen:
An online retailer here in Sweden offers Samsung's 3DTV's (40c755, c7705 and c8705) with the starting kit and a slim wallmount if you buy the c6900 3D BD player at the same time. €2300 in total.
And I've been looking at the sony hx800 with bdp-s470 player otherwise.
Problem is the samsung deal might expire soon, but it's kinda steep price on it even with free things. On the other hand, the sony package leaves money for a new hdmi 1.4 receiver IF glasses are also offered as a deal (read on a blog on whf.com).
If no glassees are included, the money saved goes to buy glasses. And I end up with a uglier TV (only slightly though). And I know the Samsung package is a 5 star deal by todays standards for 2d viewing as well. The sony can be better or worse...
Opinions please. Or I'll go for the Samsung early next week most likely...
