Hi Iam in the market for a second hand sacd player for upto £1500. Ive a few in mind Musical Fidelity KW sacd player but, ive heard that it is not too reliable and has a noisey transport what are peoples views on this? I have cyrus pre and 4 cyrus x mono blocks with Gershman avant garde speakers. My current source is a cyrus 7Q and gorbe TT for vinyl. If push comes to shove a good redbook player would be considerd if it could up my TT. Any views would be much appreciated Musical tastes are most but not country or pop and reggae.

IMHO, the Arcam CD37 is a stunning SACD player - and you can buy 'em new for c. £1350.

WHF? gave the CD37 only 4 stars, whereas other 'well-known hi-fi journals' - in the UK and US - gave it very good reviews and 5 stars.

Well worth a demo?
