S-Video Out from SKy HD Box

Is there an S-Video out from a Sky HD box? The What Hi-FI review indicates that there is no S-Video out connection. Is it possible to get an S-Video out signal from the Scart out connection?

there isn't an s-video out on an hd box. you can get s-video to scart leads but dont think they work the other way round i,e scart to s-video, but not 100% on that,so you would need to check on that

Strange question but why would you want to run a S-Video cable from a HD box?

For recording purposes, my recording device accepts component or S-Video only.

the older hd boxes have component out, but the new crop dont if thats any help
