RX-V1900 or Denon 2310

I have narrowed it down to these two amps. Any advice on which amp should I get. I am into both movies and stereo.

Denon 2310...the best AV receiver for the money

The Denon may well be the best AV receiver for the money, but the Yamaha was originally £300 more expensive and in another league. IMHO it would probably be a better choice if you you can now get it for a similar price to the Denon. However, it would help if we knew about the rest of the proposed system so that we can all give better advice.

The Yamaha 1900 is more in the league of Denon 2310's elder sibling, the 3310. But you must audition both before making a purchase because all the receivers sound very different to one another & only you can decide which one you would prefer. For me, the Yamaha was easily better.

Which speakers have you got?
