HI ,i was recording johnathon ross last nite , flicked over to whatch it and the screen was blue ,on both standard and hd, but sound was spot on . Anyone else notice this.

NO, but i tried a later recording still the same, whent to watch topgear on bbc hd bluescreen.

Its a bug...Powering down and/or a planner rebuild should/usually sorts it.

On the Sky remote, press 'Services' then, 0-0-1-select in quick succession, then 7 for 'planner rebuild'.

The upside of all this is we don't have him on BBC anymore. The man is a self obsessed prat.

The show is meant to be a chat show, but it is only about Ross's ego, he does nothing to bring out the best in his guests.

Good man....................very pleased that someone else shares my view

Hopefully I won't have to endure him and his ego ever again...............................I'm sure he is "quite talented" somehow (or not)

Careful. If every TV company got rid of all of the 'self-obsessed prats' on the box, would this not negate the raison d'etre of television? I remember first having this thought about 50 years ago having been introduced to Andy Pandy by my mother. Now that's what I call a self-obsessed prat. A default narsissistic personality, if there ever was one. Dull personality, constantly needs to be the centre of attention, manipulative, little empathy for others, outlandish choice of clothing to compensate for poor self-esteem. Come to think of it, was the reason Pandy wasn't allowed to speak because he had a speech impediment?
