roksan rok one speakers

hello there, i went to my local pawn shop the other day just to have a look around and found a pair of roksan rok ones on the shelf i looked up some reviews and prices on the internet and as they only cost £130 in the shop compared to the £800 on the internet i decided to buy them, they sound pretty good, they can go bright if you dont have a powerful amp but as im upgraded that soon i didnt really mind.

I'm just wondering whether these particular speakers would go well with the naim setup, nap 150x power amp, nac 122x pre amp and naim cd5i cd player. if you could give some ideas of what you think of this it would be most appreciated, thanks, naim is holmes.

from the way this thread is going, im guessing know one likes the rok ones, or just haven't heard of them, but still if you have it would be most appreciated if you could post your thoughts, thanks, naim is holmes

I nearly bought the roksan ojan 3's a while back but i just couldn't afford them. Roksan made some good speakers back then, i remember the hot roks. Then there was the model with the sprung tweeter but i cant remember the name of it. I think they made a model called the hot cakes as well, then along came the model you have so all in all a bit of a bargain. Nice speakers, i liked them.

You have to have some patience i'm sorry.

Not everyone will have heard of those speakers (including me - i didnt realise that Roksan made speakers!)

Someone will be along at sometime to offer a better insight into them

If you like them; enjoy them. There wont be any harm in you partnering them with your Naim set-up.
