Roksan K3

I wandered into a local R/S yesterday ... as you do ... and saw the new K3 range from Roksan.

It actually looks a lot nicer in the flesh than on pics. Much needed after the design disaster that was the K2.

Well done Roksan (even if it does come at a huge price rise).

Can't vouch for sound.

Pretty pointless post really but it is Sunday and I'm building up to some spinning.

Im not a Roskan fan but it sounded and looked pretty good at the show. Here you go.

The CD player will need to be a big step up in performance over the K2 CDS. The K2 turned out a big disappointment for me sound-wise, and my Rega Apollo-R which replaced it walks all over it.

Neither was I taken with the K2 amp last time I heard one and I wouldn't swap my Brio-R for one.

Still, the K3s look much nicer and with the increase in price I would hope they've worked very hard on the sound. For me Roksan will always struggle to beat the likes of Rega, Exposure and Creek who are my 3 favourite amp makers.
