Question Roksan Caspian M2 internal fuse rating?

Maybe someone could shed some light on this.
There are two versions of this amplifier, one marked 2 amp and the other 3.15 amp internal fuse rating.
My one is marked 2 amp and it blows the fuse. If I put in a 3.15 amp, its fine.
What do you think?

I first thought by internal, you meant a fuse inside the amp.

My guess is they might tell you to leave your 3.15A fuse in place (in which case I would change the labelling).
So is this the fuse in the mains plug? If so stick with the 3 amp as it's only there to protect the cable, heck you could use a 5 amp
Internal fuses are a different matter as they are there to protect the circuitry.

No, it's the T type in the IEC connector assembly on the back panel.
Assuming the amplifiers are otherwise identical, it may be that Roksan have uprated the fuse to avoid nuisance blowing.
If that is the case, then Dom won't be alone - anyone with a T2A, will sooner or later have it blow (in normal use).
You can only hope nobody gets their amp 'repaired' by anyone unscrupulous.
