As the title suggests. I need a 5.1 surround sound amp and accompanying speakers.
I require everything to be compact and have the following sources to connect up.
1x Ps3
1x V+ box
1x Wii
1x Freeview built into LCD TV Samsung
I really like the tiny Sony DAV-IS10 but it only has a single HDMI out socket (no HDMI in sockets).
I don't want excessive switch boxes etc added to allow the dav system to work unless it does not involve having to flick an additional switch each time I wish to change source.
I am now thinking that perhaps you lot can suggest a compact receiver.
It must be able to fit in shelved cabinet no bigger than 110-115 mm high.
Perhaps an arcam or do Cyrus do a 5.1 amp?
I would also need compact speakers and like the look of the KEF's but they are a bit pricy for a flat that will never be able to crank up the volume with out causing the neigbours to have a fit.
Suggestions welcome.
