I did how ever had a pair of a26, i sold them when i wanted more monitors for my pc and only had space for a23's, when i again had the space for bigger speakers i bought the a25's since i could get them for a better price then the a26's (at that time i still had the boston a 23's, which still isn't sold, so i saved a bit money buying the a25's instad of a26's).
Then today i so a used pair of a26's for sale and started talking with the seller, i know they are a bit more punchier,better power handling and a bit deep bass(really good for edm trance fm with a good 50watt amp, prefere music like dire straits,pinkfloyd .... not edm, although i like listening to edm ones in a while), i know the bostons are about to be discontinued so when he mentioned it i looked at the only store who imports boston speakers in Denmark (the have started to import the new wharfedale diamond) and asked the live chat and the where discontinued, they are not getting more boston a models.
I'm asking about replacement beacuse i am currious about what speakers boston is gonna make instead of there cheapest but populare and well reviewed model a (not 100% shure if the danish store is not gonna sell boston speakers anymore or if it's only the boston a's that they can get because they don't make them anymore, i guess it's the last)
I don't want a subwoofer since i have used one and i think i can only adjust it to perfection with a mic and crossover for the bostons a's, like there is on a av amp (not gonna buy one), but a bit more bass,punch,oomph i wouldn't mind, but not with a subwoofer, think music from my main system is better, more harmonic without a subwoofer, placement of a subwoofer is also a bit limited for my main system, so i also ask if i wanted to replace my boston a25's since they don't make the a26's anymore, what alternative there is
