Hi there

I am in the process of upgrading my PC's sound capabilities.. I started out with onboard sound chip and little logitech speakers, with a little subwoofer.

My plan was to buy a decent sound card, and some decent-high end speakers to go with it. I've decided to stick with 2.1 stereo sound as I don't have the space to have more speakers really, especially as I am going off to Uni soon.

I bought myself a Creative X-Fi soundblaster Xtreme a few weeks back, and now I'm looking to upgrade my speakers to go with it. As I said, I am limited to stereo speakers, and they should be fairly compact if possible, and with a subwoofer if possible, and I have about £100 to work with.

I was going to go for these Creative Gigaworks T40 series but the lack of a dedicated subwoofer is putting me off a bit. The subwoofer can be as big as it likes, as I can put it on the floor under my desk just fine.

Are these Creative ones a good idea? or has anyone got any better ones?

Thanks
