Replace or upgrade

My system consists of Linn LP12 + Lingo, Ekos Arm and Klyde MC Cartridge. Naim CD5 Si Linn Kairn and LK140 with Linn Majik 140 speakers.

In spite of the expensive and hardly used Record set up it has hardly been used. I have sold most of my LP collection and over the past 20 years accumulated a nice collection of CD's.

I am contemplating an upgrade and have been recommended the Rega Saturn Mark 3 at £2000 to replace the Naim CD.

If I decided to replace the Pre and power amp, what would be needed to give a similar sound to the Linn's bearing in mind their age?

As luck would have it my Kairn went down yesterday and may need replacing any suggestions of a Pre-Amp to pair with the LK140. There are Kairn's avalable on Ebay so that might be an alternative.

Sorry for so many questions but I am not an Audiophile as such so the technical side is a bit of aminefield for me, help would be appreciated.

Hello there . Id add the teac vrds-701 to the addition list.

Id get linn to give you a quote for a repair of the kairn might not be that much. Just a thought.

Thank you I will check out the Teac-off in the morning to see if I can get the Kairn checked out-we have a specialist Linn repairer close by, if it can be done he will do it.
