Do they have a listening room? ask for a demo. Then ask if you can borrow the best one to try at home in your system in your room.

As for the sub, do you feel you need more bass?

I went from the same amp and CDP as you to an Audiolab 6000A when my NAD died and I've been very happy with it.
A very good amplifier. I keep saying it, the thing usually holding this amplifier back are budget speakers many connect to it. Then they complain that it sounds ****. So much more capable. I had £5k Stirling’s and this unassuming little thing was not outshone. Well made too. A glimpse of high end for next to nothing in the greater scheme of things but don’t skimp on speakers.

You aren’t going to improve on the NAD, simply find a different sound. What exactly has gone wrong with it? It may be a simple fix that will cost a lot less than changing to something else.
Indeed it could be a very simple fix.
Especially with the 'fault' symptom you mention:
the sound balance change randomly from right to left and i feel that the sound is not as it was
Your amp has the type of switches and controls that are susceptible to becoming contaminated with dust and dirt.
Such contamination causes intermittent or permanent signal dropout, crackles and distortion.
Have a look at Servisol Super 10.
Just a few squirts of that, in the right places, could well make the amp sound as new.

I'm not saying you shouldn't buy a new amp - just don't give up so easily on the old one.

Servisol Super 10 ? is it a thread or forum or product ? the problem that i can fix it and still there are more old capacitor that can be too old and dry (as an electronic guy i say that) so it can be a loop of replacing parts

It's a spray that cleans and lubricates the contacts of switches and rotary controls.
(It's what your electronic guy would use if you asked him to service your NAD).
But you (or someone you know) could easily do the job, for the price of a can:

I am not quite sure why everyone seems to suggest to get the old NAD fixed?

Sure, it may be simply tarnished contacts but the likely hood is that it will need a service, bias adjustment and perhaps parts to function as designed again.

Whilst it was and still is a decent amplifier it is not a giant killer and should be easily out played by modern but slightly more expensive amplifiers if the OP wants to upgrade. The Musical Fidelity, a Rega or Audiolab would do very nicely even if it means his ears will likely need a little time to adjust.

By any means, try the contact cleaner to then sell it as a working unit but I would’nt spend more on it to get it fixed.

any recommendation on a good Sub ?
What is your budget for SW? I assume it's less than the amp. It's so easy to go nuts with the suggestions, like REL, SVS and the like.
If it's around £300ish I can suggest the Klipsch R-100SW 10" Subwoofer on eBay/Amazon it's £319 . I think this is end of line model that's why is selling at a very reasonable price.

The replacement model Klipsch R-101SW 10" is selling for £425 on Richer Sound but if you are a VIP member, it's £349.

If it's much less, Wharfedale Diamond SW150 are selling for £185 on Amazon and AV.Com
