Rega Planar 3 with RB101

I have purchased a Planar 3 without a tonearm as an upgrade. I was going to take an RB101 from my RP1 and fit it to the Planar 3. There is a new cartridge in the RB101 (Goldring E3).

I plan to get an upgrade on the tonearm in a few months but will there still be a big difference having only an RB101?

I wouldn't imagine you'll notice a huge improvement.

Thanks for the reply. Just wanted to check that you're saying that I might be better off sticking with the RB101 with the Goldring E3?
