The Sony dvd recorder will record things at 576P at most - i.e. Standard Def. If you want Hi-Def recordings, you'll need a Hi-Def source (Freesat HD, say) and an HD recorder - so a Freesat HD recording box. Like a Humax Foxsat HDR: click
