Recording format?

Hi people. Maybe this is not the correct forum section, but if not just tell me and i´m moving it.

I have a Sony CDR-XR150 camcorder. When i plug it to the computer, the output format of the videos are .tp or .tps. And are not compatible with iphoto or any similar. How do i change it or how do i solve it whitout converting each video? (Are videos in 1080p, too many MBs)

Is it not HDR-XR150 Camcorder ?

Oh I found this on the Sony link it seems all Sony Camcorders come with this software

I've never seen that page. I'm a spanish speaker so searching in the web for articles in english is not that easy.

Yes it comes with the PMB. I didn't knew that iMovie supports that format. I´ll do it to edit all my vids. But what i really need is a Photo Viewer for the MAC, iPhoto is useless.
