I have the Panasonic and find it very clunky.

If you are using it for movies, the picture is very good.

The smart stuff just isn't that smart...very glitchy

Totally depends on your requirements. If you're going to use it for BBC iPlayer, YouTube, Netflix, Lovefilm etc., Sony has more features than Panasonic. You can't go wrong with either otherwise.

Which bluray player supports mkv files at 24p framerate? Panasonic displays those files at 60hz I believe, not sure about the Sony. It doesn't happen with bluray discs
