I bought a 1987 4-track 12", mainly for the title track.
(£2.37 it was...if only 12" vinyl was still around at sensible prices, my turntable would probably still be in regular use).

Doesn't surprise me. Prescribed drugs had kept him alive since he took illicit rubbish in the mid 60s.

Very good singer, songwriter, but I could never gravitate to his music or personality.

Yeah still young, really sad.
I know of him, indirectly from Kate Moss's former beu and coke head, Pete Doherty during a hiatus from the Libertines formed the Babyshambles and Patrick became their lead guitarist.

Saw him with Paul Rodgers in Cardiff, just before his stroke. A great talent. Ironically Bad Company are due to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame later this year. At least he got to hear of his well deserved nomination. Mick Ralphs R.I.P.

Rest In Peace Ozzy Osbourne, so sad just a couple of weeks after the farewell show. I discovered Black Sabbath in 1980 when Dio joined for the Heaven and Hell and Mob Rules albums - I saw them live twice. Then a guy at work gave me a copy of Paranoid and I got Ozzy's Talk Of The Devil live album of Sabbath songs which is amazing. I never saw you live Ozzy but thanks for the music, rest easy.
