Greetings, I have a few quesions Question regarding bookshelf speakers placement.

Many articals suggest that place bookshelf speakers on a stand is the best, but most stands I found on interenet are 18 inchs or 24 inchs tall, which would be too tall to put on my computer desk. So, my quesion is, do I have to put speakers on my desk for best results? Can I put them behind my chair? Can I put them on the side of my desks? The pictures of my desk and its surrdings are attached. Thanks for any informations!

Why not get desktop stands?

eg http://www.isoacoustics.com/index.php

Also, maybe turn on some more lights next time you take a photo

Cheers, Vlad. I just needed to drop some acid to see in the dark. Ain't nobody got no time for that. In too much of a rush to drop overused memes.

To the original question, Vlad is right on the money with his suggestions.

Not sure, but I think I'm seeing a pair of Audeze's and a Schiit stack on that desk. That would explain the Head-Fi website on the monitor.

Ah, sorry. It should've been "I can't see Schiit, captain."

some of the Schiit amps can also double as preamps so would make an ideal match with a pair of studio monitors of a suitable size, suitably mounted.
