As I've discussed before I'm on the lookout for my first proper sub and the review was of great interest. However I noted the lack of existing award winner in the comparison.

How does the WHF Team rate those reviewed against B&W's ASW 610?

I've been trying to source one from B&W since the end of last year but it seems my local Sevenoaks is having real trouble getting a stock answer from B&W. Combine that with B&W's unflinching adherance to RRP at last year's Sound and Vision Expo and I'm once again open to considering alternatives so further advice / audition suggestions would be appreciated.

I bought a REL T3 from Sevenoaks for £250. This was mainly because it was £150 cheaper than they offered me the 610 for. I didn't demo the 610 unfortunately as it was too much, but I can tell you the T3 is way better than the Monitor Audio BR sub, and the high level input is great for music.

(Edited for stupidness)

Thanks for the suggestions so far.

My parents use a REL with their Radius sats and are very happy - I'll *** round for a listen although the amp is somewhat different.

For those with experience of BK's which model best competes with the 610?
