Quad Cdp-909 How are they across the musical world

Hi I have seen the above and am Interested in them, are the anygood with my older Mission speakers? and are they ok! with most music types but not classical. Any help or reviews most welcome.

I'm very pleased with them - a big step up from an old Phillips CD150/Quad 33/405 that I had previously - into Mission 753s.

Thanks jc! what is the sound like? I am after a controlled bass more so than outright depth, from what I have read the mids and highs are good. I have had a brief audition but that was with Quad 22's, would somthing like Pmc Gb1i's work well as an upgrade in the future.
