Quad 33-303 Changing voltage from 240v to 110v

Hi, just moved overseas from the UK to Colombia and need to change my Quad 303 amp to the appropriate voltage so that I can use it. On the back there is a black dial which you should be able to turn in order to have the correct voltage but it wont budge? Am I doing something wrong or do you have to open it up in order to rewire the selector?
Any help and advice would be much appreciated.

Although intended for easy adjustment from outside, it will probably have some form of lock to prevent accidental movement.
You will not have to rewire anything.

As the Prince says above, you could contact Quad - not sure what modern Quad are like (but when I last contacted them, I got a hand-drawn circuit diagram from the owner of the company!.....but dinasours were still knocking about then).

Try pushing the dial in, before turning it.

As an alternative, post a closeup picture of the dial for us to take a look.

It’s so long since I handled one I’m not sure. I’ve a hunch you pull it out, rotate it, and reinsert it. But as it’s ancient now, something brittle might break.

Can you not Google a handbook?

I deleted the Lufthansa rubbish but no idea what has happened to the OP....

I suspect OP was expecting something more complete than 'Speak to Quad' and took umbrage given he has moved to Columbia which I also suspect is a Republic rather than a record label.
