Airlock plugs - If you can afford them, they are the best.

ive just got this cable with my tannoy f4's cant comment on the difference in sound as haven't got anything to compare it to. However if you constantly change gear about (like me) i would recommend banana plugs as the ends fray a bit more than a normal cable.

some people may disagree but don't banana plugs have a inaudible effect on the sound.

don't they just make them quicker to connect.

Perhaps not the airlock plugs as they will stop/slow oxidisation .

Yeah just go for banana plugs; makes life easier then and to be honest; i had the QED Silver Annivaersary bi-wire cable with my Arcam Alpha 9 set-up (CDP, integrated and power amp) as well as M/A RS6 speakers and found no difference what so ever with banana plugs and QED Airlock plugs...

A point to note is that all types of termination when new will sound the same, be it bare wire, connectors or airlock plugs.

It is the oxidation that leads to noticeable signal degregration, this is the main benefit of using airlock plugs as this does not happen at all.

True but for the money its cheaper to overbuy by a few metres and then rim a little off every couple of years where its oxidised.
