Qed hdmi-p cable

Hi guys,i've finally convinced the other half that sky hd is very much needed

all being well should be installed by the time i get home from work tomorrow, i've been out and bought a qed hdmi-p cable but cannot see a direction on it,

i'm presuming its in the direction of writing along the cable, is this correct?

Normally is on interconnects and speaker cable so I would say yes.

That is the direction of the writing as it would be read (left to right), should be from the source (Sky HD box) to the tv

Not all HDMI cables are directional.

If there are no arrows indicating the direction of the signal, it probably doesn't matter.
