Q Acoustics vs.??

I am looking to get a good setup for my 4 x 5 meter living room. I have owned pretty good speakers earlier on so I am a bit picky. I am considering several alternatives right up to MA RX6AV12 package, but your review of the Q Acoustics 2000 package made me think: Can I get much of the same perfomance cheaper?

How well would the 2000-package play music with e.g. an Onkyo 607 compared to other alternatives? Would I get a night and day improvement choosing Monitor Audio RX instead?

Thank you for that reply.

Anyone here who actually own the Q Acoustics package, I am a bit sceptical when the only place that reviews these things is What Hifi...

Why? It's probably just that we review a lot more equipment than others, so they're yet to get round to them.

Yes, the MA RX speakers would give an improvement, but at a much higher cost; with the 607 I think the Q Acoustics speakers will sound very good indeed.

I see, but the RX6 AV12 package with a good receiver would be alot better with acoustic music, right?

Would the Q Acoustics package be able to fill my room at loud levels?

Would a wise middle way maybe RX1 + RX-C + good subwoofer + midmarket receiver?
