Pure adrenalin

It feels like I keep finding lots of decent chill out music, but not much in a way of pure adrenaline.

Listening to music to wind down is all good, but what do you listen to that could replace a cup of coffee?

Nothing beats the below for me on YouTube for a pure adrenaline rush :

Isle of man, wrc, Paris Dakar, and Ken block gymkhana series :)

Mix of speed and fast music, what's not to like

Any particular album you could suggest, Cno?
I have Army of Mushrooms...but explore them on Tidal.
Ok, thanks. It will be interesting.

I've got The Mars Volta playing in the meantime.

If you don't know them check out track called Wax Simulacra on YouTube :)

All this folk and singer songwriter stuff, however good, made me sleepy. Even had Sevendust playing and felt sleepy, still.

John Henry Bonham. Definitely don't listen when having a cup of coffee!

Wow thanks Amormusic. Must say, shamefully, not even heard of any of these artists.

Venetian Snares - Szerencsetlen

This one track is about the equivalent of half a dozen double expresso's and it might also leave you with a bit of a facial twitch for a while. *biggrin*

Will be interesting to put some Classical on. But I admit after 1h19min of The Mars Volta I just put some jazz on to calm down first :) Recovering from injury so no gym for me again.

There's been a few interesting Classical releases today. By the look of it all really well received. I wish I could recommend any.

Try the second movement (allegro) from Shostakovich symphony no 10, preferably in the version by Herbert Von Karajan.

Also the overture to Ruslan and Ludmilla by Glinka, preferably in the version conducted by Sir Geirg Solti. (He was nick named the ‘screaming skull’ by some musicians for his sometimes frenetic conducting. Here the players sound like their lives depend on getting though it in one piece!)

For something more modern, A Short Ride in a Fast Machine by John Adams is great fun.
