So I have the R3meta, never had the R3 non meta, or the R300 that you purchased. But I did have the LS50 Meta which I wanted and desired for years. I upgraded my amp to the Peachtree Carina 150 and I will say the LS50 just did not have enough for me. They were absolutely beautiful and solid sounding, so I upgraded to the the R3Meta and I was there. Just Full., and perfect. Yes, analytical as you would except from Kef but also full and sound stage solid. Love them Love them. Step up to Metas you will not regret it. I am driving them with the Peachtree Carina 150

Agree, it's massively difficult to declare a step up if you have never heard the original.
I sometimes wonder where this sort of declaration comes from.
