PS3 + USB DAC - Will this work ?

Will the NuForce uDAC work with my PS3 ? I work offshore for 5 weeks at a time and since I store most of my movies and recorded tv on my PS3 slim, this DAC would be ideal for me as it's also a headphone amp. However, I have mis-givings about whether it will work. I know it will work with a pc/laptop (I will be using it for music from my netbook) but I'm not sure about usb connection from the PS3. I don't think there is an option in the ps3's settings to output audio via usb. Cheers Gary.

Use optical and get a DAC/Headphone amp like the Firestone Audio Fubar IV (has optical and USB and coax digital inputs.)

Don't think so. Even if it were, I'd be inclined to side with Chebby and get a DAC that can take inputs other than just USB. The Fubar is a good choice (says he, having bought one), though quite a bit more expensive than the uDAC, from what little I can gather of the latter.
