Dear Friends;

I have couple of questions which i can use some advice.....

Curretntly i own Pioneer LX5090 - Pioneer LX81 Reciever - Pioneer BDP 51FD - Cabesse MT30 Alderney speakers - MJ Accoustics - Reference I MkIII

Now considering a projector for Blue Ray experience without spending a big sum.

I am considering Infocus x10 or Sanyo PLV z2000 due to value for money.

I have a 6m distance from the screen and dark room, %80 Blue Ray and some HDTV/Playstation 3.

Unfortunatly the pricing is an important issue Sanyo plv z700 is +%20 more expensive than PLV Z2000, almost double of the british RRR!!!!!

Should i place the projector right in fornt or can i place it on the side? will effect the performance?

How big should be my screen?

Thanks in advance.

Best Regards

I haven't seen that exact Sanyo model, but the InFocus x10 is a great piece of kit.
It's got the full 1080p chipset and it's fitted with a good lens as standard.
You should head over to the InFocus website and you'll find a handy calculator function there, just select the model number and all the relevant screen sizes and throw ratios come up.
