Which one?

Thought I had settled on the Genie - but then saw the Debut III in Blue and think it looks fantastic.

There's a slight price increase - is there any difference between the two, ie tonearm, cartridge etc?

If the Debut III is the best option, is it worth going for the Phono Stage version? It will be hooked up to an Onkyo 875 (which has it's own phono stage) and Quad L-ite speaker system - not the most "Hi-Fi" for all you purists I know.

Please help

Oy!

Better tonarm and more solid plinth.

Nah, the phono-stage in the Onk will be just as good, if not better.

sorry - it's just that the 875 has had a bit of a slating on here when it comes to Hi-Fi performance, even though I think it sounds great and very musical, esp withn the excellent Quads.

Thanks for that - I thought as much but needed to check what others thought.

Debut III it is then!

Is there like a mark 1/2/3 that I need to know about so I don't get fobbed off with an earlier model?
