Profigold PGD 5000 or Supra Zac optical cable

I want an optical cable to connect my Cambridge Dac Magic to a transport and I wonder what cable should I choose?For those of you that have experience with these two brands,help me to decide,please[😛]

Since they're not exaclty expensive, you can buy both (mail order) and return the one you like least within seven days for a refund. Price of return postage is the cost of the experiment, since it is highly unlikely anyone has compared the two, and the chances of actually hearing a difference between them is very very slim. Unless you have a good imagination.

Iïm asking because a few friends of mine told me that Supra was much better than Profigold.I can buy the Profigold with a discount,so do you think I should buy the least expensive?

Based on what they have heard themselves? Or what they have read?

If you're in the UK, consider doing what I said - order both and send back the one you don't like. Many places have free delivery, so the only cost will be the return postage. This is just to put your mind at rest, as you are unlikely to hear a difference, at least it will show you something. Seriously, the sonic differences between optical cables have got to be practically nil.

Iïm trying the Profigold right now,because I can return it.So far is very good,Iïm buying it.The differences with the Supra are minor,I guess!You are right,itïs not worth bothering with this issue!
