pre amp +monoblocks or Intgr amp

Can someone tell what's the better way to drive speakers.

By way of a pre amp with two monoblocks or just an integrated amp.

I'm looking at a Denon DAP 2500 pre with two POA 4400 monoblocks, or two ma500 Marantz monoblocks with a ...? pre amp.

For integrated amp,i'm thinking of Marantz pm17,16

Or any other amp that will work

I will use it with the Marantz cd17.

I'm in need of help.

True separates are always going to out perform an intergted amp, bar none.

ideally, the choice should have been pre/power or pre/ monoblocks.

if you can stetch to it, monoblocking every time.
