non of the metioned speakers are hard to drive

They are not intended to be used with expensive 1000 pounds euros amps, except for the kef ls50, it's just a matter of having enough power for the desired max volume you would like them to play

Possibly time to get back to answering the OP's question rather than trying to pick holes in other peoples suggestions I feel.....
I already did. No holes were picked.
The Quad S2 might be worth a look, although it isn't as full of presence as the 706. Or maybe the Klipsch RP600?

What did you mean by "most amplifiers that do "the hi-fi" thing tend to do just that: show off detail, but keep stuff too even".
They sound detailed alright, but lack excitement. Or some have this overly "airy" sound in the highs, like Yamaha amps (to my ears at least). Clinical or soft.
