Polarised or active shutter?

If Sky 3D is going to be side by side Passive, does that mean i can use the cheap polarised Glasses like they have in pubs whilst watching Sky sports Footy at home on my Sammy C8000 from Oct 1st..??

nah, you will still need to wear your sammy active glasses, your tv will do the necessary jiggery pokery to convert skys side by side broadcast to suit ..
