I was gratefully recommended to buy this item by you wonderful experts:

However I am told that this is no longer available and cannot be supplied.

Can anybody recommend for a similar budget something similar that is available?

Right if you still want the same package Richer Sounds have the the Tannoy's for £139 and Exceptional Av have the Onkyo 506 in sale for £199. Don't think you will find it any cheaper, Jamo's or Kef's 1005.2 alsom worth Considering, If Your looking for a budget amp that can decode all hd formats, the very hard to get hold of Sony 820 is an option.

No cynicism, genuine cry for help. Im completely ignorant of audio stuff and paranoid of buying some rubbish that wont work properly is overly priced. The last time I posed in February I was given a great find/bargain, however the company selling them after delaying for 2 months finally cancelled my order for me....Tho from what I have been reading here seems I am not alone.

I am really hoping to be pointed in the direction of another excellent referral. I got all 6 Star Wars Films in HD and a group of baying friends waiting for me to get a decent sound system to go with the awesome plasma for the ultimate (as ultimate as you can get with money being tight) cinema experience in the comfort of my own home. 🙂
