The choice is bewildering and I've done a fair bit of research, but I'll ask for advice anyway.

I want a good 5.1 surround sound system with a Blu Ray player. I have Sky HD and a Samsumg UE40B7020 TV. I'm not interested in 3D. The rear speakers have to be wireless. No plans for an Xbox or PS3 any time soon, but it's a possible in the future.

Will consider all in one or separates. Budget £1000.

Cheers

There are a few wireless systems, where you can add a blu-ray player, and a few with a blu-ray player. As for the best for under £1000, i can't help, but Sony ones look pretty good.If you choose separates, then Kef do a very good speaker package, but it will be way over your budget at £799 for speakers, then you would need to spend at least £400 on amp £100+ on blu-ray player and all the cables. You can get wireless kits which will work with various speaker packages again would workout fairly expensive, and require a plug socket near by to power the receiver. Here's the Kef's which i think if going wireless are your best bet as you could go for the Onkyo 608 3d receiver which would have the technology, if you ever need to change your tv, or add a projector. Im sure whfi members will be able to give give you some better advice on which all in one packages to look at.
