Playstation 3 sound.

I’m planning on purchasing a Playstaion 3 for Christmas, more for its Blue Ray drive than its game playing capabilities. It seems to be a super dvd player but I’m just wondering how I will be able to connect it to an amplifier and whether it is actually any good connected this way. Cheers, Paul

If you have an amp/receiver with HDMI (such as the current range of Onkyo's) then that would be the best way, otherwise you can connect via optical cable.

I have mine connected to my Onkyo TX-SR875 via HDMI, and it sounds good.
