Plasma versus LCD

I'm in the market for a 37" or so telly and I'm completely befuddled by the current market. I really can't tell which ones are the best and which are the worst in the shop. If money was no object (it is, but lets pretend) would it be plasma or LCD?

Personally, I'd go for the plasma.

The latest LCDs are very good indeed, especially at this kind of size, but the plasma would still take it for me in terms of black detail, colour and sheer impact
