Plasma size help needed!!!

Hi, i was going to go for the 428xd however i managed to convince my wife to go for the 508xd, but i think that i may be to close for the viewing distance. So can anyone help with a recommendation between the two.? I am desparate to get a plasma and want to get it right.

What is your viewing distance? I had the same issue and decided to go for the 42 inch even though I would have loved to get the 50 inch.

I got the 42 inch kuro. I sit as little as 2.5m away most of the time with no problem. I think the 50 inch would be OK from that distance too (just). Any closer - go for the 42 inch.
So why didn't I get the 50 inch. JL would only do me a deal on the 42 inch (with the info I had with me at the time).

[/quote]I recommend you go and look at look at Tvs at your chosen viewing distance. Only your own eyes can get it right.

Right thanks for your help. My front room is a rectangular shape the TV would be in one corner and the closest viewing distance would be 2.5m however it would be up to 5.5m at the other end of the room. So im really not sure on what to go for, any suggestions? Alos has anyone used TLC Broadcast for TV's is the servce any good??

TLC are highly recommended by many. It's worth going to Elstree to check out they're fully calibrated sets. I'm not sure they'll have any 428s left though. Stock is becoming scarce it seems.
