Hi,

Just a quick question... Does anyone think it is worth sending L+R stereo preout from my LX50 home cinema receiver to my NAD stereo amplifier I have currently in a cupboard (C315BEE)? Would this improve the sound for my CD playing? I have the matching NAD 515BEE which is excellent I think. Basically, would the NAD cope better with stereo music than the power amps inside the LX50? Is it worth it? I think that the Pioneer copes admirably with stereo music (as it should for £800!) but I'm wondering if there's an improvement to be had.

Thanks

I don't think the sound will improve that much, I always found the LX-50 a wonderfully capable amp that also did pretty fine in stereo, for a surround receiver. But who know's, I doubt you'll find much people who've heard both, and I don't think you'll find even less people that used the pre-outs on their LX-50, so if I were you i'd just try it.
