Hi...
I'm having probelms hearing the Dolby Digital sound via my amp from the Sky+HD box (Samsung) coaxial digital output. It seems to be overridden by the stereo signal from the connected HDMI cable.
When I unplug the HDMI cable from the back of the Sky box, of course I loose the picture but the amps sound switches to DD and it seems to work. Plug the HDMI back in and the amp reverts back to stereo.
To watch Sky, in the amp I've assigned the TV/SAT HDMI input to HDMI 3 and assigned the TV/SAT Digital Input to Coax-3.
I have the coaxial cable connected from the Sky box to the amp Coax-3 input.
In the Sky box the Digital Audio Output is set to Dolby D and I do make sure I'm watching a program that carries the DD signal.
Do I need a different HDMI cable or am I missing some settings???
