pioneer plasma problem

I HAVE A PIONEER PLASMA MODEL # PRO-507PU.

wHEN I POWER ON ALL I GET IS THE BLUE LED OND RED LED LIGHT UP. THEY DONT FLASH. THEY JUST STAY ON. NO PICTURE NO SOUND. I REPLACED THE POWER SUPPLY AND NO CHANGE. CANANYONE HELP? :cry:

Hello six71weiland, I'm not familiar with the Pioneer Plasma PRO-507PU, and I suspect that maybe you are not in the United Kingdom? From the symptoms that you describe, it sounds as if the fault is something pretty major. You've replaced the power supply without success. Maybe it's something like one of the capacitors across the voltage rails. I'm not sure how big your television is, or if it is possible for you to take it to a repair shop that specialises in (plasma) televisions, or whether you can get a repair technician or engineer to visit you at home? All repair options will be cheaper than buying a new television.

Yeah I would check your local newspaper for a TV repair guy, that's what I have always done. They are normally very cheap and should hopefully give you an answer to what is wrong and fingers crossed if not too serious repair relatively cheaply. That is what I would do.
