Pioneer Plasma Loss of Audio

Hi People , I moved to Australia and took my trusty Pioneer Plasma with me only to find it has lost it`s audio. I had it hooked up to a Sky+ box in the uk which worked fine. Now I have to run a separate tuner running through my surround amp , if I listen hard to the tv speakers they give a faint hiss and that`s all. My tv is a PDP436XDE and a PDP06XE media box...... anybody know a cheap fix before I take it in for a check up. Don`t want to spend too much , at 4 years old...... cheaper to get a new Pan`.

It seems like something's gone loose in your TV. If that's the case, it can be repaired cheaply. Otherwise, it's probably cheaper to buy a Q-TV or soundbar or speaker system than a full repair.
